Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 and 2022. As a part of the Democratic Party, she previously was a part of the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013-2015); and the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns to CNN from 2017 through 2020. Psaki began her career with the 2001 re-election campaigns in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack who were both Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki also served as director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications, serving as press secretary to Obama's reelection campaign for 2012.
